our mission
cherryish yourself (pronounced cherish yourself) is a streetwear brand advocating for sexual assault awareness for all types of survivors and experiences. We use fashion to create more conversation and a safe, supportive community focused on learning and healing together.
A cherry is traditionally a symbol of both playfulness and sensuality, which represents our brand and alludes to our mission. Our brand is intentionally gender-neutral to create a space inclusive to all types of survivors and stories.
Often, an unfortunate event is the trigger for conversations about sex or sexual assault, which can make these topics uncomfortable or even scary to talk about. Or more commonly, the conversation is outright avoided. We as an organization hope to spark these discussions, or in other words, pop your “cherry” for having conversations about sexual health.
Our name alone is a little reminder for everyone and anyone going through a rough time that they should cherish themselves. To be proud of who they are and what challenges they have already faced and conquered.
Our community, mes chéries (pronounced mes shair-ees), is french for “my darlings."
10% of profits will go towards sexual assault survivors to support their journey in self-love.
Our goal is to raise awareness for sexual assault, consent, and mental health. We want to provide a safe space for survivors and allies to support one another. cherryish yourself is a group dedicated to advocacy and support. Joining our movement is an excellent way to surround yourself with an accepting community of friends who will listen and support your journey.
